Manjula Weerasinghe is a is a postdoctoral fellow at the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka in Anuradhapura. His PhD primarily focused on developing a vendor-based intervention that will limit access to pesticides from shops for self-poisoning. He has more than 10 years experience working on pesticide suicide prevention studies in North central Province, including the large cluster RCT of locked storage in rural Anuradhapura district.
