Dr. Richa Shete

Dr Richa Arun Shete, MD Community Medicine, is a doctor working passionately towards making mental health a priority. She has worked in tribal areas of Gadhchiroli, and rural areas in Solapur and Jalna district, to strengthen the district mental health program of the government. Working as a consultant epidemiologist with the public health department of BMC, Mumbai, she has contributed to the training of around 400 medical officers on general mental health. She founded Make A Conversation Foundation in 2020 and is currently part of State Mental Health Authority of Maharashtra. 

Dr Shete is working as a consultant for CPSP to help strengthen capacity and collaboration to reduce pesticide suicides in the state of Maharashtra.
