The Centre for Pesticide Suicide Prevention is delighted to be partnering with the University of Cape Town to offer three 2023 bursaries.
The bursaries are available to students applying to one of the following courses, with a focus on pesticide suicide prevention:
The bursary will cover year one, with the potential for year two funding if students achieve 65% in all their first-year courses.
How to apply
If you are interested in being considered for one of these bursaries, submit a bursary letter of motivation alongside your application letter of motivation (2 letters), when applying online to UCT.
The bursary letter of motivation should include:
- An explanation of why you want to work on pesticide suicides and your current awareness of the issue.
- Details of how conducting work on pesticide suicides ties in with your current work.
The closing date for applications is Wednesday 31 August 2022.
