Finbarr is an ecologist with over 25 years of international experience in developing sustainable farming systems. His research focuses on ecosystem health approaches to food production. Finbarr has promoted agroecological crop protection methods among farmers in Latin America, Europe and Asia to escape the ‘lock-in’ to agrochemical use. He currently works to support the Global Action Plan on Highly Hazardous Pesticides in agriculture.
